When the lockdowns started, I never thought this was possible in modern times. For people who have been able to reach the moon, build giants skyscrapers that touch the clouds, and travel quicker than the speed of sound, being seriously hit by a virus seemed really impossible! That was probably the reality of old societies such as the 1918’s one. “The modern technology is advanced enough to fight and beat this virus”, I opined. However, my viewpoint was too far away from reality.
Every day the percentage of cases increased and increased until becoming exponential; politicians around the world started the lockdowns and people began to die in thousands.
