Dr Lawton has just accepted the biggest project of
his life at the prestigious Rankine Institute in Toronto, Canada. His job is to prove that DSAR7 will become
the most effective form ever for the treatment of epilepsy and other brain
disorders.
But during a break-in at his lab by a suspected
junkie, three guard dogs get into the cultures.
One Doberman dies on the spot.
Two dogs escape the building.
The city is going through the worst heat wave ever
recorded. Between the heat, and the
water shortages, tempers are flaring and everyone is affected by it.
Meanwhile, the dogs suffer horribly from the culture
they’d eaten and before long it takes terrible effects on their brains. These dogs are going mad, and it’s worse than
rabies.
The Rankine Institute’s Director, Dr Williams, fears
for his beloved Institute, himself, and his granddaughter, Gisele.
Not everyone gets out of this alive.
