Life can be wonderful and beautiful. However, we don't always get to do everything, and go everywhere, that we want. In this charming picture book, the author describes how there were places "We Never Went".
However, in his imagination, even though his wife is no longer around, they can visit these locations in his imagination. "We never went to Paris, that certainly is true, never saw the Eiffel Tower, or walked along a rue. It would have been romantic to sit alone and float along the Seine, just us two, on a moonlit, starlit boat." While he suggests regret over these lost opportunities, he always raises his, and our, spirits by visualising what could have happened.
In every instance, he confirms that love conquers all, and never fades away.A charming picture book in rhyme for everyone to enjoy.
